Play Wii Games on PC - Dolphin

Dolphin is a free and open-source emulator of Nintendo GameCube, Wii and Triforce that runs on Microsoft Windows, OS X andGNU/Linux. It was the first emulator to successfully run commercial Nintendo GameCube and Wii games, and is the only emulator capable of running commercial Wii games. Its name refers to the development codename for the GameCube.
Dolphin Emulator Window

High-definition support
Dolphin, like most PC emulators, supports arbitrary resolutions, whereas the GameCube and Wii only support up to 480p. This feature has been widely lauded by the gaming community and has received features on numerous gaming networks, as the emulator has surpassed the limits of the original console.

Dolphin runs best on a computer with a 3 GHz or higher dual-core processor, and a graphics card that supports the latest versions of DirectX, OpenGL, and OpenCL. Note that Dolphin only utilizes a maximum of three cores; it is a dual core program, with an optional additional thread for low level DSP processing. Preferable graphics cards are those manufactured by Nvidia or ATI. Integrated cards (like the Intel HD series) are not recommended due to lower average performance. Dolphin is able to accept input from a mouse, keyboard, joypad, joystick, Wii Remote, and microphone.

Dolphin's performance varies between operating systems, with the Windows version generally being the best optimized. For example, the only video backend available on the OS X releases is OpenGL, while Windows allows DirectX9, DirectX11, or OpenGL. Other emulator features like Free Look only work on certain operating systems or are not correctly implemented otherwise. Thus the same game running on a Windows operating system will usually perform better than under OS X, even under the same hardware by dual-booting.

However, only a day after its release to manufacturing, a copy of the final version of Windows 8 Enterprise N (produced for European markets) leaked to the web and several days later there were Pro and Enterprise leaks both x86 and x64. On August 15, 2012, Windows 8 was made available to download for MSDN and TechNet subscribers. Windows 8 was made available to Software Assurance customers on August 16, 2012. Relatively few changes were made from the Release Preview to the final version: New backgrounds for desktop, lock screen and start screen, as well as a tutorial are added. Windows Explorer is now called File Explorer. Finally, the start screen and included apps are slightly tweaked.

Fedora 17

Fedora formerly Fedora Core, is an RPM-based, general purpose collection of software, including an operating system based on the Linux kernel, developed by the community-supported Fedora Project and sponsored by Red Hat. Fedora’s flexibility makes it capable of serving as a digital repository for a variety of use cases. The Fedora Project's mission is to lead the advancement of free and open source software and content as a collaborative community.

Fedora 17 arrived on Tuesday following a three-week delay. Nicknamed Beefy Miracle, the Fedora Project promised "over and under-the-bun improvements that show off the power and flexibility of the advancing state of free software".

That's a bold claim for a package with such a ridiculous name. While this is a solid update with significant enhancements under the hood and the latest version of the GNOME desktop, there's nothing particularly miraculous about it - just as we concluded in the review of the beta build.

A miraculous Fedora 17 would have included full support for Btrfs - the kernel at least supports the filing system - but that's going to require a major rewrite of the Anaconda installer interface and has been postponed until at least Fedora 18.

A miraculous Fedora 17 would also have somehow wrangled the full complement of GNOME apps into supporting the new application-level menu in GNOME 3.4. Impossible, you say? Fedora has almost nothing to do with development of GNOME apps? Exactly, but it certainly would have been miraculous if Fedora has done pulled it off nonetheless.

Instead we have a very nice new version of Fedora that, while not miraculous, is well worth grabbing, especially for those of us still trying to adjust to GNOME 3.

GNOME 3.4 continues to polish GNOME 3, particularly the Shell where the search features have improved significantly. Results appear much faster and the Shell is much better at guessing what you want. It does not, however, show results for applications that are in the repos but not yet installed, a nice new feature you'll find in the latest version of Ubuntu's Unity search tool.

GNOME 3.4 also introduces the aforementioned application-level menu that sits in the GNOME Shell bar at the top of the screen and lists actions and options for the program running in the foreground. The application menu pretty much mirrors a very similar feature in Ubuntu's Unity interface, but unfortunately not all applications use the new menu yet, making GNOME 3.4 feel a bit unpredictable and more inconsistent than previous releases.

Adobe Photoshop CS6

On March 21, 2012, Adobe released a beta version of Photoshop CS6. It adds new creative design tools and a redesigned interface with a focus on enhanced performance. CS6 Beta is available for free downloading in English and Japanese for MAC OS X and Windows. New features have been added to the Content-Aware tool such as the Content-Aware Patch and Content-Aware Move.
Adobe Photoshop CS6 will also bring a suite of tools for video editing. Color and exposure adjustments, as well as layers are among a few things that will be featured in this new editor. Upon completion of editing, the user will be presented with a handful of options of exporting into a few popular formats.

CS6 brings the "straighten" tool to Photoshop, where a user simply draws a line anywhere on an image, and the canvas will reorient itself so that the line drawn becomes horizontal, and adjusts the media accordingly. This was created with the intention that users will draw a line parallel to a plane in the image, and reorient the image to that plane to easier achieve certain perspectives.
CS6 will allow background saving, which means that while another document is compiling and archiving itself, it will be possible to simultaneously edit an image. Also, CS6 will also feature a customizable auto-save feature, preventing any work from being lost.
All the tools and filters will be improved and optimized in CS6. Now, when a filter is applied, it will be applied to the current layer, as opposed all layers in older version of Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe has responded to feedback from the graphic design community, and has modified the User Interface accordingly. Now, it boasts a more unified, static look, and is easier to keep track of all the palettes and documents.
